Elefsina Hotel

My overall experience was very positive. Clean, comfortable and relaxing environment and they didnt close down breakfast or other services over the new years period. Staff were very friendly and accomodating, seems to be the standard in Greece. Breakfast had fresh fruit, Greek yoghurt and proper fried eggs - not the dreaded powdered scrambled eggs. A good variety of sweets and pastries to go with the coffee most of which looked homemade. The food served in the restaurant in the evenings was also of a decent standard and at a good price (then again I live in Denmark so all food is cheaper elsewhere) Clearly the best hotel in Elefsina and would come here again if my work brings me here. We arrived at nearly 1am after travel delays and were welcomed with a smile and shown to our rooms quickly. AC and WiFi worked well and we enjoyed the pool and proximity to the Elefsina archaeological site and museum. They stored our luggage for us the next day when we had a late night ferry.

The location. It’s a 30 minute drive from Athens airport so perfect for a stopover before driving south. The breakfast is very good and the staff couldn’t be nicer or more helpful. It’s a 10 minute walk from the ruins and bars and restaurants.

Location is near some really nice tavernas! There is underground free parking.

Bed was very uncomfortable, mattress needed changed rolled into the middle therefore a very broken sleep, whole point of a hotel is a comfortable bed! Breakfast charge for an Americano 🤔 Going back so see if bed is better in another room!
